I believe that people are the key to a successful and fulfilling life. I enjoy spending time with people and enjoy getting to know them. I think that it is important to be able to connect with others and build positive relationships.

I do! But, I’m a selective people type of person. I don’t just spend time with anybody.
I heard the quote: “It’s better to be alone than to be with the wrong people.”
That could not be more true.
People influence people, if they let it be an influence. Sometimes when you’re going one way on a path, another person might go the same way as well, or lie to you about going the same way as you. If you decline to walk together with them in that direction, for sure you’ll go to the right direction. And if you decide to accept the person’s invitation to walk along with them to the same destination, you may still be on the right path, going the right way. However, the person you’re walking with might take a different trail, and you might think that’s the way you want to go, or realize this person’s walking the wrong way.
This is where disagreement becomes necessary in life.
Let’s say this person does walk the wrong path. You have a choice for yourself. You can let yourself blind and keep following your new friend, since they told you in the first place where they were initially going, which happened to be the same location you’re getting to, OR, you can realize the 2 of you want to attend to 2 different places. If you want to go to that new (to you) place, do it, stop by there for a visit before you go off to where you were going. But if this place is not where you wanna go, it’s time to part with that person. Hey, it’s been a pleasure to have someone to keep you company and talk with during your journey.

”Would you describe yourself as a people’s person?”

I would describe myself as someone who is always looking out for others. I care about the well-being of others and try to be understanding and compassionate. I think it is important to be a people’s person because it helps to build community and support one another.

What does it mean to not be a peoples person?

Being a People Person indicates an extraverted and sociable personality. But that’s the upside. Extreme extraverts are often anxious, needing other people as an outlet for their own high energy, a distraction from themselves (and their fears), and a means of feeling funny, liked, accepted and even loved.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as it can mean different things to different people. However, in general, being “not a peoples person” can mean that you don’t care about or understand other people’s feelings or needs. You may be very self-centered and think only of yourself, or you may be rude and inconsiderate to others. In either case, being not a peoples person can be a big barrier to getting along with others.
