How do you figure out if someone has a calm mind?
Calm minds are generally considered to be more productive and efficient. There are a few things you can do to determine if someone has a calm mind. One is to look at their posture. People with calm minds tend to have a more upright posture, with their heads held high. They also tend to have a more relaxed facial expression.
Another way to determine if someone has a calm mind is to look at their hands. People with calm minds tend to have less active hands. They also tend to have a more relaxed grip.
Overall, it is important to have a calm mind in order to be productive and efficient. By looking at a few different indicators, you can determine if someone has a calm mind.
If you try to figure out if someone whether another (which is what I assume is meant here) or yourself has a calm mind you will not know. Figuring out if another has a calm mind, what would you go by. A person would wisely say by their body language or facial expressions, but this is not always the case. You can not use an active mind to use external facts to figure out if someone has a calm mind. You can take an educated guess but it’s faulty. It will always be faulty. Maybe a person can sense into these things but if they can it’s not by them figuring it out with their mind. They may intuit in some way mental agitation or not but again if we are not talking about analyzing (figuring out) then it would be based on what? Maybe some are conscious of this and maybe everyone can be but it takes place not in the realm of the Mind or what we usually call the mind.
meet the person where they are at. Meet them and let their entire personal self, all of them be within your presence. And do not separate self from other. Why would one need to figure such things out? I can see it helpful in some professional fields but then again we need to move past analytical data for things that are not of the analyzing mind. Another’s state of mind is not analyzable unless you always recognize you have it wrong that you don’t see them or their state of mind because you have an agenda for yourself. The agenda is to figure a person or their state of mind out. When we are with a person with our agenda (whether to help the person or not) we are not with the person. We are with only our agenda and how to meet the desired goal. This is how we mostly operate. That we do not or cannot meet others as they are we have an epidemic called loneliness. I am me, the are them and another is that other. But where we believe in actual separateness we cannot actually know another. Where individuals exist but any real separateness is seen through then there is no figuring a person out there is ??? Being…being with being in Being. Minds may have a tendency to relax and calm in a state of rest or peace when with or without consciously realizing what is going on their is a gentle presence of being seen known and recognized. Sometimes this may scare the persons mind at first but their is something in them that recognizes something that they may have never had and never knew they did not have… absolute unconditional acceptance. But where other is other and I am not other nor does a bridge exist where the two are not only two then we have no calm mind but temporary lessening of agitation.
