How do you gain confidence biblically? First and foremost, you have to have a relationship with God. Once you have that relationship, you can start togain confidence in yourself. You need to trust God with your life and your future. You also need to have a good attitude. If you have a good attitude, you will naturally start to feel more confident. Finally, you need to develop a good work ethic. If you work hard, you will be able to achieve your goals. Overall, these are all important things that will help you gain confidence.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Mark 9:23“ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
James 1:6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
2 Corinthians 3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God.
2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
Ephesians 1:3-4
[3]Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
[4]For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love.
From the above verses, the true strength to thrive, become confident and all that, comes from our Wholeness. Christ is the true source of our Wholeness. The question to ask is how can we connect and maintain our oneness with Christ? It is clearly through faith, not doubt. To consciously align our thoughts, words and actions to the way of Christ is to exercise faith in Christ. This is so, as we affirm His Presence in our lives by consciously living to Him. As we live to Him, we draw more strength from Him. When we make declarative prayers in the name of Christ, it is more potent when we are consciously striving to live to Him. Christ is the Source of strength, love, patience, calmness, creativity, courage, peace. All these promote confidence. When we strive to cultivate them, we draw more of them from Christ and boost our confidence.
Again, we are reminded that Christ sees us blameless, without guilt. Hence, to wallow in guilt is pointless. Guilt is good to kick, as it erodes our confidence.

”What Jesus says about confidence?”

For the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.

When we think of confidence, we usually think of the way we feel inside. We feel strong and confident when we feel good about ourselves. But what does Jesus say about confidence?

In Matthew 10:38-42, Jesus tells His disciples that they are not to be afraid of people, but rather be afraid of the devil. He says that the devil is a thief, and that he will steal our hearts and minds if we are not careful.

But what does this have to do with confidence?

In order to be confident in the face of the devil, we need to be rooted in God. We need to trust Him to protect us and keep us safe. And we need to remember that God is with us always. He will never leave us or forsake us.

So, whether we’re facing a challenge or just feeling a little down, we can take comfort in knowing that Jesus is with us. And, as long as we stay rooted in Him, we can be confident in anything.

Constant Reminders of God’s Faithfulness You will be more confident in God when you see how often he steps into the lives of his people. Sometimes God’s help is confusing right at the moment. It may even seem like the opposite of what you wanted, but over time, his mercy becomes clear.

The confidence we have in God comes from his perfect character. We can be sure that he will always do what is right, and that he is always faithful. He is also able to help us through difficult times, and he always has our best interests at heart. As we have confidence in God, we can be more positive and productive in our lives.

Assurance Prayer I need your Spirit to walk with me, Lord. I need you to assure me that I can do all that I am meant to do. May I be confident in your promise and remain faithful to you, even in the hard times. I pray that I live boldly because you are my Lord.

When it comes to confidence, we all want to know how to ask God for it. But the truth is, it’s not always easy. In fact, it can be downright scary to open up to God and ask for what we need. But if we’re willing to take a step back and try to figure out what we need to do, then asking for confidence is definitely doable.
