There are many reasons why someone might choose to become a Christian. One reason is that Christianity offers a unique and comprehensive worldview that can answer many of the questions people have about life. Christianity also offers a path to eternal life, which is something many people seek. Finally, Christianity offers a community of believers who support and encourage one another in their faith.
I cannot answer for others. For myself, it was when I realized that I was an enemy of God and lost in my sins. My faith in science as the answer to life failed miserable as I realized its shortcomings. And the evidence for God, and the validity of the Bible became something I could no longer dispute.
Jesus Christ is the source of eternal life. I have found no other.

Remember, our believers’ benefits are forgiveness, knowing Jesus, overcoming the evil-one, being strong, and having God’s Word in us. Perhaps you want these same benefits that are certain, sure, and real. You can have them. They are made possible because of the blood of Jesus.
There are so many great things about being a believer. First and foremost, it means that you have faith in something greater than yourself. You believe in a power greater than yourself and that allows you to be more courageous and optimistic. It also gives you a sense of purpose and meaning in life. Believers also tend to be more forgiving and tolerant.
